Becky Pearson

Becky Pearson and Lynx

Hospital Administrator

Becky Pearson has been the Hospital Administrator at Cheshire Animal Hospital since she and her husband Lee purchased the practice in 1987. Prior to that she was the state sheep specialist for Vermont. Her most important job, however, has been raising their three sons, Wes, Ben and Jeff.

Benjamin Pearson

Office Manager

Ben received a B.S. in management from The Pennsylvania State University in 2007. He spent three and a half years in restaurant management and is now extremely happy to be back in the family business working as the hospital's Office Manager. The clients may recognize Ben from the years he spent working at the clinic during school breaks and summers throughout his childhood.

Becky Huntley & "Boo Boo"

Technician

Becky graduated from Springfield college with a B.S. in Biology. She began working as a veterinary technician in northern N.H. In 1987 she moved to Keene and began working for Cheshire Animal Hospital. After a year on the job she announced, "I'm a lifer!" and it was true. She is approaching her 25th year as a member of our team! When not at work Becky enjoys spending time at home with her two boys and an assortment of animals.

Devon Sweeney

Technician

Devon has worked at Cheshire Animal for more than 15 years, and has held every postion except Veterinarian!. She has a degree in Pyschology and Chemical Dependancy from Keene State College. Devon and her husband own a construction company in Greenfield, N.H. When she is not at the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, her two dogs and three cats.

Laurel Benoit & "Sam"

Technician

Laurel graduated from Delhi State University in 2001 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. After internships at two veterinary clinics she began working at Cheshire Animal Hospital in 2002. Laurel and her husband, a dairy herdsman, have two beautiful children, one dog, and two cats.

Barbara Mosher

Pet Care Consultant / Technician

Barb first worked for a veterinarian 34 years ago! She has a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Florida. In her lifetime she has raised everything from parakeets to Boxers to horses. In her previous life she was a science teacher. She has worked at Cheshhire Animal Hospital off and on since 2002 and has been both a receptionist and technician. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, pets, and bird watching.

Elaine Aukstikalnis & "Lynx"

Senior Pet Care Consultant

Elaine has been a receptionist at Cheshire Animal Hospital since 2005. (She is the one who remembers everyone's name and their pets' names.) A native of Massachusetts, she worked as a paralegal for 15 years before moving to New Hampshire with her husband, John and their three dogs, Molly, Cookie and Rufus. (Elaine's daughter, Jordan, was a valuable part of the C.A.H. family before moving to Colorado in June, 2011 to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology).

Amanda Cote

Pet Care Consultant

Before joining the Cheshire Animal Hospital in 2012, Amanda worked at the Monadnock Humane Society for a total of eight years. She was a dog trainer and shelter technician and progressed to canine behavior manager . Most recently she served as the  Boarding and Daycare Manager. She lives in Troy, NH and enjoys spending time with her pets, family,  hiking and painting.

Ashley Wilson

Veterinary Technician/Care Consultant

Ashley started at Cheshire Animal Hospital in 2006 as a kennel helper. She became a valuable member of the team and was promoted to technician assistant. Since the Spring of 2011, she has been working with clients as a receptionist, as well.

Jenny Hurley

Pet Care Consultant

Jenny has been a veterinary receptionist since 2004. In 2007 she joined the staff of Cheshire Animal Hospital. She took some time off after giving birth to twin daughters, then returned in 2011. We are glad she is back! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and her new dog, Charlie.

Elisha Carpenter

Kennel/Assistant

Elisha started working at Cheshire Animal Hospital in January of 2011. She attends Keene High School and plans on becoming a veterinary technician. She has her foot in the door here at C.A. H. as one of our kennel staff. In her spare time Elisha enjoys riding horses and spending time with her dogs, Duncan and Lucy, and her cat Minni Mouse.

Jeff Pearson & "Snoop"

Technician / Veterinary Student

Jeff is a 24 year-old veterinary student at Kansas State University. Born and raised in the area (and in the business) he has a deep respect and love for animals. He is a 2009 graduate of the University of Connecticut (your 2011 National B.B. Chanps). He has worked at the clinic with his parents during summers and school vacations. During his undergraduate studies he worked at North Veterinary Clinic in CT. Jeff recently adopted his first dog, "Snoop", a beautiful Plot hound mix. Returning to Kansas for his second year, he will enjoy riding longhorns and roping bison.

Beth Franzen

Veterinary Technician

Beth graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Music Education. She also holds degrees in Data Processing and Veterinary Technology. She has worked in various clinics in NH and MA since 1999, and just recently returned to work at Cheshire Animal Hospital. She raises show dogs (cocker spaniels) and lives happily in Westmoreland with her eight dogs, three horses, one cat, and most importantly, her husband, Bill.

Jenny Robinson

Pet Care Consultant

Jenny joined the team at Cheshire Animal Hospital in 2012. After graduating from Umass Amherst with a degree in Landscape Architecture she ran a garden center in Maine for 10 years. She moved on to work as a receptionist at a large AAHA hospital for two years in Connecticut. In the Spring/Fall months she runs her farm and garden center, Ridge View Farm, where she lives with her golden retriever, Molly, and german hepard, Ethan. She also raises pigs.

Lynx - The Cat

Official Greeter

Lynx, our one-eyed croked cat, has been with CAH since 1999 when she came in as a 2 year old with some big issues. During the past 12 years she has performed a very important function at the hospital. She is our official "greeter" and a favorite with all the children. Some of her favorite hobbies are eating breakfast, napping, eating treats, tormenting the reception staff, napping, eating lunch, getting a belly rub, napping, eating supper . . .you get the idea.

Tyler Huntley

Kennel

Tyler's mom, Becky, has been part of the C.A.H. family since 1987 so it makes sense that Tyler, a 2011 graduate of Keene High would be a part of the family too. He has been a kennel worker for the past couple of years, and we have loved having him as a part of our team.
